I’m a serial entrepreneur with a passion for SaaS and commerce. Born in Taiwan, I moved to the U.S. on my own without family at the age of 13—a leap that set the tone for everything that followed. After launching a couple of startups, I founded ReSci (Retention Science) in 2013 to help brands use AI to better understand and engage their customers. Our CRM software has powered incredible companies like 3M, Gillette, GoodRx, OLAY and Target — and earned recognitions such as one of the "Most Innovative Companies in Los Angeles" by Fast Company, and "America's Fastest Growing Companies" by Inc. ReSci was acquired by Constant Contact in 2020, where I get to work with brilliant engineers and data scientists to build tools that make marketing smarter and more human. I’ve been a keynote/speaker at SXSW, ShopTalk and shared lessons learned on CNBC, Bloomberg. In 2019, I was named one of the "Most Inspiring Founders of the Year", alongside founders of Reddit and Warby Parker by Inc. Magazine. Outside of work, I’m an active board member, angel investor, and LP in several top-tier VC and PE firms, including ReSci’s lead investor, Forerunner Ventures. I’m also a scuba diver, amateur underwater photographer, and animal lover who’s happiest when cooking and getting lost in a new city.
