Trisector Leader | COO | Catalyst for moving organizations forward | MIT Sloan MBA | Bestselling Author of Skills: The Common Denominator | @dcASHA
I thrive in entrepreneurial environments that welcome operational change, foster meritocracy, and inspire self-starters to jump out of their lanes. I began my career spending a few years each in the non-profit sector, private sector, and public sector, always in operational roles. I found new and better ways to improve customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX). I became skilled in balancing vision with action to establish goals, inspire teams, and achieve results. I also carved out my professional values of accountability, meritocracy, spirit of generosity, and transparency. Hearing about my previous experiences, executives sought me out for being a collaborative partner passionate about solving complex business challenges. > I championed business optimization and digital transformation initiatives that were honored with awards and best practice case studies. > I became a global operations executive adept in aligning strategy and operating performance through data-driven execution and change management to propel growth, efficiency, and customer engagement. > I honed my leadership capabilities, becoming an empathetic leader known for my ability to coalesce stakeholder engagement and coach high achievers. Now, I've joined GlobalGiving as Chief Operating Officer, where I work with other senior executives on the growth and sustainable impact of our mission-driven organization. * * * * * * Speaker Bio: Asha Aravindakshan (@dcasha) serves as the COO for GlobalGiving.
