I'm a product designer 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 to make interfaces less miserable and more humane. It is not easy to convert passion into profession, but this is what most people aspire. Since childhood I had a sense of belonging to the world of creativity where my ideas take any shape or form. That feeling never really resonated with anything else I was doing throughout my life especially when I was pursuing engineering. And during my journey through engineering I had a realisation, that I also want to pursue what everybody always aspire. This realisation sent me back to the world of creativity which never died but evolved on the side with me and I went down the path of achieving 𝐈𝐤𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐢. I switched my trajectory to pursue graphic design. I tried exploring every niche under the giant umbrella of graphic design and discovered, only a year ago, that UI/UX design resonated the most with me. I enjoyed solving problems with design. The first ever personal project I worked on was a redesign of a popular Indian e-commerce app, my father was struggling with the app to locate some features and he reached out to me I was surprised to discover that the most used feature was tucked inside a menu which deteriorated the experience of using the otherwise simple app. This was the inspiration for my first project and it helped me in landing an internship at Oyelabs as UI/UX Design Intern. Today I have niched down myself much further to a Product Designer. Curious by nature, I make extra efforts to understand the purpose of the product to create a solution which embodies the vision of the business while empathising with humans to deliver a memorable experience.
