In my role as a process technician with Applied Materials, I meticulously prepare wafers for thin film experimentation, oversee reactor setup and operation, and meticulously evaluate outcomes. Additionally, I expertly utilize a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to conduct in-depth analyses of samples from both cross sections and top views. I actively support colleagues by offering guidance on optimizing sample preparation techniques and conditions. My professional journey includes obtaining various certifications from Applied Materials, including Metrology and Defect Inspection, as well as mastering the Fundamentals of Dielectric Deposition. Concurrently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at Foothill College, with plans to transfer to SJSU. Through my studies, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical dimensions of chemical analysis, synthesis, and instrumentation. Furthermore, my coursework at San Jose City College in biochemistry has sparked a profound interest in the intersection of chemistry and biological systems. Driven by a fervent desire for continuous growth, I am deeply passionate about acquiring new skills and broadening my knowledge base. My ultimate career aspiration lies in the realm of data science. To this end, I recently completed a LinkedIn course on The Non-Technical Skills of Effective Data Scientists, which equipped me with invaluable insights into effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving strategies.
