Design-oriented Engineering Leadership at Airbnb

I'm a designer and engineer who enjoys wading in the space between those two disciplines. I'm now at Airbnb as a design-oriented engineering leader for our UI Foundation teams working on design systems, accessibility, and UI tooling. I most recently was the Head of Design Infrastructure at DoorDash, leading design systems & tooling, and managing managers, designers and engineers, where I was for almost 8 years. I was also the first designer and frontend-engineer there, back when you'd never ordered a burger over the internet.
