Rebecca is the Vice President of Global Communications at Twitter. She leads the team responsible for developing, shaping and driving narratives around the service’s mission: to give everyone the power to create and share ideas and information instantly without barriers. A mission-oriented strategic communications and marketing veteran, Rebecca joined Twitter most recently from Bird, a leading e-mobility company and pioneer in shared micromobility. As Bird’s Chief Communications Officer, and one of the company’s early employees, Rebecca architected Bird’s global communications, community, brand and marketing strategies and programs, in addition to helping the company go public. During her tenure at Bird, she also drove strategy and execution for the company’s global policy, public affairs and government partnerships teams. Prior to Bird, Rebecca was a partner at OutCast, an esteemed marketing and communications agency. At OutCast, she was responsible for spearheading integrated communications programs for leaders and disruptors including Andreessen Horowitz, Bird, Coinbase, Facebook, Instagram, Oculus, Oracle, Pinterest, and TurboTax. Before that, Rebecca was a director of communications at Oracle where she managed global communications programs and campaigns. When not working, Rebecca can be found running, earning badges on her Peloton bike, enjoying the beach, cheering for her kiddos on the soccer pitch, flag football field or basketball court or hanging with her husband binge watching some streaming series (most recently Terminal List and Snowflake Mountain). A public relations veteran, for nearly a decade I had the opportunity to serve as a partner at the renowned integrated PR and marketing firm, The OutCast Agency. Former clients while at OutCast span consumer as well as enterprise leaders and disruptors including Andreessen Horowitz, Facebook, Fifth Wall Ventures, GOAT, Instagram, Lyft, Mint, the NFL, Pinterest Oculus, TurboTax and Tanium. Previously, I was Director of Oracle’s Corporate Communications team, where I managed global communications campaigns for the enterprise software company.
