Patrick Chang
Patrick Chang is the founder of Dispersion Capital and a seasoned venture capitalist with nearly two decades of experience in web2 and web3. He began his career in tech investment banking and M&A for Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. Before founding Dispersion Capital, he launched the blockchain investment thesis and strategy at Samsung Next Ventures back in 2014. He led investments in cutting-edge infrastructure technology at Cota Capital, Investor Growth Capital, Bain Capital Ventures and Foundation Capital. As an early investor in some of the most pioneering web3 innovators and protocols, including Alchemy, Dapper Labs, Flow, Forte, Syndicate, Theta, and Blockstack(STX), Patrick's impressive track record speaks for itself. With nine investments in companies that later became unicorns (e.g. Branch Metrics) and three more with large acquisitions, he has a proven ability to select game-changing projects that drive success.
