I can pinpoint the day I knew Sales was in my blood... When I was somewhere around 14 years old, I watched my Dad haggle with a New York street vendor to get the best deal on a jersey of my favorite soccer player. Even though the list price was more than fair (especially for a replica knockoff), my Dad made a point that price tags are usually just a "suggestion." He began to take the vendor on a journey about a young boy who's trying to live out his dream as a professional soccer player. Little did I know he was just exaggerating the details of my boyhood fantasy, but the intertwining of emotional storytelling and cut throat negotiations left me jaw-dropped. It was like watching my first masterclass in selling - I was hooked.
