I have been an integration consultant since 2001, visiting a different banking institution roughly every year. This has enabled me to refine a unique skill: I can tailor the best est of agile pratices for the project so that it feels natural to a team. The idea is to respect the team culture and technical abilities, and work with it. I have been working in J2EE environments until I joined SSF in 2006, then mostly C++ for about 7 years, and back to java. It is fair to say that today, I am bilingual. On Java, I specialised on Spring since the inception of the framework (I was giving talks about it back in 2005). Today, I want to continue to be on site, and offer my 15 years + experience in integrating financial systems. Since the last 10 years, I have been using Specification By Example heavily, through FitNesse in particular. This enabled to unearth difficult to catch requirements and put them in automated acceptance tests at the same time. I managed to put 100% of the requirements in FitNesse. This enables projects to deliver what the client needs as well as helping the team to understand what is really wanted.
