Why do I call myself a Lappish enthusiast of work–life balance? ⚖️ First of all, no matter where I live, as a person with roots in Lapland, my connection to the North remains strong. I have been described as persistent and hardworking—sometimes to the extent that I’ve needed reminders to take care of my own well-being. This is why I want to dive deeper into this “reminder of well-being,” both at work and beyond, especially from the perspectives of mental health and recovery, which I have recognized as my personal challenges too. Even amidst the demands of working life, I want to maintain and enhance my energy and balance in everyday life. That is why my mission is a work-life balance —not just for myself, but for all of us. What is work-life balance? ⚖️ Our everyday life consists of work and other life. In practice, successfully work-life balance means that daily life flows smoothly, and different areas of life fit together naturally, complementing one another. Work-life balance becomes particularly important during changing life situations and different career stages. When work and personal life serve as sources of energy for each other, this also reflects positively in the workplace, leading to strong work performance and commitment to the organization. How to achieve work-life balance? ⚖️ Work-life balance is achieved through collaboration between the employee and the employer. Organizations can influence this through good leadership and organizational culture, while individuals contribute by taking care of their overall well-being, prioritizing effectively, and managing their time wisely. Why can I help you achieve work-life balance? ⚖️ Over the past decade, I have worked in roles related to differents aspects of work-life balance -supporting youth employment -conducting numerous recruitment processes for various organizations -developing my clients’ work ability management -impementing and developing HR practices with different clients while also contributing to improving their organizational culture. -sharing the insights I have gained about well-being, prioritization, and time management leveraging modern wellness technology. In addition to this hands-on experience, my studies in both business and sports have provided me with the academic foundation to apply these themes effectively.
