I have a PhD. in artificial intelligence and machine learning from the University of Florida, currently leading the strategy and development of an AI-based blockchain platform for the global private capital markets and private digital securities that are fully compliant in multiple jurisdictions. My role includes research in blockchain-related technologies and business models, such as digital securities, chain design, consensus, as well as incorporating artificial intelligence/machine learning techniques. I love to teach - I'm an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. I have C-level experience as a former Global CIO at GE and as a VP & Chief Evangelist at Software AG. My third and latest book is "AI & Blockchain: A Brief Guide for Game Changers," (with foreword by Vint Cerf, co-inventor of the Internet). This is not a technical book, but meant for decision-makers and influencers. My two previous books were on business process management; they have been adopted as supplemental texts at various MBA and EMBA programs worldwide. As you may guess, I love to write. Besides the books, I write articles and blogs actively. I am also a contributor at Forbes. I have done numerous conference presentations, keynotes, and consultative engagements in 20 countries. My professional network consists of over 23,000 first-level connections, with 70% being decision-makers and influencers with titles such as CXO, VP, Directors, etc. About half of these senior roles are in companies with 1,000+ employees.
