Some things I can do: • Turn technical gobbledygook into clear, concise and compelling copy. • Provide informed perspective and wise counsel. • Untie knots, solve conundrums, unscramble eggs. • Dig in and get up to speed fast on a brand, company, or sector. • Listen to clients, account people, research people, media people and anyone else who has insight. • Come up with that “man, I wish I’d come up with that” idea. • Recognize when someone else has come up with that “man, I wish I’d come up with that” idea. • Mentor and advise young talent. • See the forest through the trees. • At the end of the day, be a co-worker you enjoyed spending the day with. Some things I have done: • Worked on just about every kind of account imaginable. • Wrote, cast, produced, directed and even starred-in. • Moved the needle for clients. • Run my own shop. • Pitched and won business. • Sold work. Sometimes edgy work. • Won awards. • Made friends at everywhere I’ve been. Some things I have not done: • Acted condescending, turfy or like a prima donna. • Complained (much). • Phoned it in.
