I'm a problem-solving design leader and product thinker based in Los Angeles. My passion for mobile design and design systems has led me to take on a variety of roles in the product design and user experience realm. At Safara, a seed-stage hotel booking platform, I currently serve as head of design as we work to drive innovation in a stagnant industry. I'm also an advisor to other startups, leveraging my extensive experience at companies like SoulCycle, Harry's, FanDuel, quip, and MakeSpace. In my work, I take a holistic approach to design that includes building design systems, mentoring younger designers, contributing to product strategy, defining user flows, designing wireframes, crafting user interfaces, building prototypes, and collaborating with engineers to resolve edge cases that may arise during development. I'm passionate about advocating for design best practices and regularly mentor and coach younger designers. I've also contributed thought pieces on design to various industry publications, including A List Apart and uxmag.com. Outside of work, I enjoy working and experimenting with new cocktail recipes.
