Solution Manager | McKinsey & Co.
As a Solution Manager at McKinsey, I have the distinct privilege of serving some of the world's largest corporations as well as emerging, fast-growing startups as they grow, change, and adapt to the realities of the net-zero transition. I enjoy serving our clients, many of whom are leaders in the clean hydrogen ecosystem, across a range of topics including go-to-market and commercial strategy, green business building, capex optimization and project investment thesis generation. As an MBA Candidate at Stern, I explored opportunities in emerging market development, strategic consulting, and impact investing. I believe that while all of us have a role to play in addressing and mitigating climate change and economic development, the private sector is uniquely positioned to play an integral role in simultaneously driving down global emissions while creating growth - particularly in emerging market economies - both fundamental aspects for future global stability. It is with this understanding I hope to shape my career. In the Army, I studied military and diplomatic applications of behavioral science. I delivered prescriptive analyses regarding the socio-economic, cultural, geographic and political factors that motivate people in conflict-prone areas throughout the world to determine how best to promote stability. At Dartmouth I studied environmental engineering and sustainable design. My work culminated in the proposal of a carbon-neutral commercial park near campus and the financial and technical analysis for an energy efficiency overhaul of a local business. Upon graduation I attended the Bridge Program at the Tuck Business School, an MBA crash course that culminated in an enterprise value assessment and investment proposal for a Fortune 500 energy firm. In the spring of 2017 I returned to Tuck for the inaugural Tuck Next Step program, a highly selective executive education program for transitioning veterans and professional athletes. I intend to use skills honed at McKinsey, Stern, Tuck and Dartmouth, along with my military experience, to foster sustainable growth at innovative private sector organizations and promote economic development, particularly in historically disenfranchised communities throughout the world. I am excited to discuss any opportunities to do so and look forward to meeting anyone similarly interested.
