Results-driven operator with both venture and corporate experience, Ezra has 20+ years’ experience building well-known internet, technology, sports, media and entertainment properties. Previously, Ezra served as the Chief Business Officer at DraftKings during the critical growth phase leading up to and through its IPO. He helped grow DraftKings’ revenue to more than $3.5 billion by formalizing corporate strategy, new business opportunities, M+A, and business processes, and generating 75+ high-profile partnerships. Ezra has also driven innovation across organizations including CBS, where he helped elevate CBS Local to the number one digital organization in local broadcast TV and radio, and NBCUniversal, where he led multiple initiatives including the NBC Universal Digital Studios and ivillage. He is a venture and seed investor that is recognized for advising numerous entrepreneurs and leaders through all stages of a business' growth and life cycle. He has helped dozens of startups, founders and organizations with analyzing organizational dynamics, business focused innovation, creating opportunities to accelerate growth, evolving corporate strategy, generating new revenue and strategies to attract talent. Focus sectors include sports, media, entertainment, biotech, AI, defense, and space. Early in his career, Ezra founded one of the first online digital sports media companies, Total Sports, which he grew to the number one independent digital sports media business in the world. He has also worked for NASA in its Space Shuttle and Space Station Medical Operations divisions. Ezra served 14 years in the US Army Reserve as an Armor Officer assigned to Cavalry and Infantry units. He has a BS in Biomedial Engineering from Boston University, MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston and a MS in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. He is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Advisory Council at Boston University College of Engineering and serves as an adjunct professor at Duke University.
