After covering financial technology for 12-years, I joined the Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University. Prior to the Fellowship I was a senior editor at Forbes, where I cofounded Forbes Digital Assets and created the Blockchain 50 list tracking institutional adoption. I'm a co-founder of the Association of Cryptocurrency Journalists and Researchers. In early 2024 I made the jump to the banking beat as a senior writer at Fortune and am currently founder and CEO of Media Luna, a research and consulting firm working with financial and sustainable companies. My work has been published in Blockchain in Financial Markets and Beyond by Risk Books and is cited by the World Trade Organization, Harvard Law School and the International Bar Association. Prior to becoming a full time cryptocurrency reporter I co-founded Upstart Business Journal and New York Business Journal and was nationally syndicated by the American City Business Journals. In 2008 I co-founded non-profit Literary New York, and ran it for 14-years.
