I am committed to supporting and improving "The Three A's": Academics, Athletics, and the Arts; this is due to my belief and passion that a great education, athletic experience, and arts involvement are for all. My drive is found in helping youth experience a caring, supportive, and fun learning environment. I daily seek to improve the experience for those fortunate enough to already be involved, but also to provide new and more accessible opportunities for the underprivileged. I have been coaching and managing youth sports and education since 2003. After playing four high school sports (cross country, swimming, track & field, and basketball), I ran cross country and track & field for Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I took four years of art in high school and majored in graphic design in college. I began my coaching career as a volunteer head basketball coach and assistant swim coach at the American International School of Lusaka, Zambia while serving as a photojournalist. After working in Africa for two years, I began working at Darlington School in Rome, Georgia. For nearly a decade I was a graphic design teacher, dorm staff, and varsity head coach for swimming, track & field, and cross country while living on campus at the school. In 2014 my family moved to Germany and I served as athletic director for Black Forest Academy, where I also coached track & field and cross country. I returned to the United States in 2018 and served as Director of Athletics at University Liggett School for four years. I began working for Sora Schools in June 2022.
