After 12 years at Google, I am now doing freelance communications consulting, and yes, that is what George Banks of Father of the Bride called "code for unemployed." I never thought I'd utter a bad word about Steve Martin, but he really didn't help me out with this one! In addition to my time at Google, I also spent several years writing for Upright Children's Brigade and had my debut picture book published by Macmillan in 2023. My work has been featured in The New Yorker, Funny or Die and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Since going freelance, I have worked on press releases, educational content, marketing collateral and speeches for a variety of clients across tech, entertainment and the nonprofit sector.
