Economou embraces innovation and has consistently transformed businesses across multiple revenue lines including licensing, subscription, data, e-commerce, ticketing, SaaS, advertising and sponsorship. Most recently she came from iHeart Media, the #1 media platform in the country reaching over 273MM consumers every month. While there, she evangelized their unified audio solution and drove the team back to exponential EBITDA growth, delivering a near triple-digit increase. While there, she was ranked #1 in ratings, and revenue, and she won the CEO award in June of 2022 as the top President in the country. Former SVP of Cross-Platform Solutions at Fox Sports, Economou was responsible for the digital P&L and daily operations delivering record-breaking performance for the company. While there, she invested deeply in video leading to explosive growth across owned and social platforms. She oversaw strategy when the organization divested from MLB BAM’s video streaming platform, Fox Sports Go, and moved to a proprietary platform leading to over 20 months of consecutive video growth. She led the FIFA World Cup digital expansion, including cross-platform distribution and production, as well as landmark sub-licensing partnerships with Twitter and Snap, garnering her an Emmy in Transmedia as an Executive Producer in 2019. She was a part of two IPO leadership teams including Match Group’s spin-off from IAC, one of the largest subscription businesses in the world, and most successful tech IPOs in history. Earlier in her career, Economou held various advertising and business development positions with Viacom, Warner Music Group, and Hearst. She runs a consulting practice called Madison Valley with clients ranging from media and technology, sports, entertainment, and SaaS platforms, consulting on overall strategy, operations, and M&A connections. An expert in setting vision and building businesses, she has a deep understanding of how to build the flywheel fueled by the underpinnings of data and technology. She is known as a thought leader, leading the development of strategic solutions to drive business outcomes for some of the most beloved consumer brands in the world.
