Prior to founding IRON Capital in 2019, Jubril Enakele worked for several investment banks in Africa and the United Kingdom, including Citigroup N.A. (Nigeria and London), Standard Bank (London), and Deutsche Bank A.G. (London).
Over the course of his career, Jubril has been involved in landmark international debt capital market transactions for African Sovereigns and corporations, raising over $10 billion for Africa-based issuers.
Jubril is an alumnus of Saïd Business School, London Business School, University College London and University of Calabar respectively. He holds memberships of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Institute of Directors (IoD Nigeria), Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria respectively. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (ACSI), UK and is a Sponsored Individual approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria (SEC).
Jubril is the founder of PFA (www.professionalsforafrica.com), a non-profit networking platform for over 1200 African professionals in London. He is on the Advisory Board of Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA), Pan-Atlantic University.
