🌊 SVP Marketing - Wave Sports + Entertainment: Developed the entire go to market strategy for the first suite of ad products (Q4 ‘19) that led to over 50% increase in sales pipeline in Q1 ‘20. Oversaw full rebrand, repositioning, and updated visual identity of the business from WAVE.tv to Wave Sports + Entertainment in (Q4 2021). Oversaw WSE’s first ever IAB Digital Newfronts presentation in May 2022
👻 US Head of Creative Strategy -Snap Inc.: Founding member / architect of the Creative Strategy org & 2nd employee in NYC for Snapchat (2014-2017). Established all creative best practices for the first suite of ad products while building & leading a team of strategists across 3 continents. Architect of the creative partnerships program responsible for securing over $50m in revenue over a 2 year period
🍫 VP Brand Content Director (Mondelez) - LiquidThread: North America brand content lead for the Mondelez International account overseeing the entire branded content strategy, direction & execution for the US portfolio. Created “Breaking Out”, the groundbreaking first of its kind “evolving narrative” YouTube series for Sour Patch Kids that saw over 12m conversations around the series in a 30 day period while doubling their Instagram following. Executed 3 successful campaigns for Triscuit, Ritz Crackers & Oreo hitting & exceeding all client objectives and KPIs

Rama Palaniappan is currently a staff software engineer at Twilio, San Francisco, CA. He specializes in WebRTC and associated signaling technologies including SIP and network traversal services using STUN & TURN. His expertise spans the entire end-to-end video pipeline including video encoding, streaming, conferencing, pre/post processing, quality enhancement, and user engagement analytics. He is trained in Agile methodologies of software development and is part of a high-performance scrum team at Twilio. Previously, he was with Spreecast where he developed a C/C++ based framework that measures video quality in live and archived environments. In the recent past, he has worked in the areas of video compression, transcoding, transport, and processing including challenges in mobile TV, IPTV, 3D video and telepresence. He obtained his PhD degree in 2011 in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. His graduate research work involved the design of bitstream extraction algorithms for the scalable video coding (SVC) extension of H.264 with application to video streaming, conferencing, and 3DTV.
