Recruiting is such a rewarding career. I love that I get to be part of one of the most exciting times in someone’s life. My favorite part of my job is finding that special candidate that stands out from the crowd to present to hiring managers and guiding them through the process seamlessly. Excellent experiences for everyone in the recruitment process is my passion. I believe building relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers can leave an impression far beyond a single job posting or interview. Having a good experience can impact how a candidate views a company for far longer than the interview process. To be a good recruiter I believe you have to be a coach, an advisor, a sales person, an advocate, and a cheerleader. You need to be passionate about your company and a jack of all trades. With over 8 years of experience in video production, editing, and strategy, I am a passionate and creative storyteller who can deliver engaging and impactful visual content for diverse audiences and platforms. As the Lead Video Producer at Republic Airways, I work closely with the communications and marketing teams to concept, budget, and shoot videos for broadcast, website, newsletters, and social media, as well as photography for comms and social media. I am driven by the mission of Republic Airways to provide a safe, clean, and reliable flying experience, and I strive to showcase the stories, values, and culture of our organization and our people through my work. I also bring a diverse perspective and experience to the team, as I am fluent in German and have worked as a freelance portrait and event photographer in different states. In my current role, I have implemented several process improvements for video production, cutting project completion time by 30%, and created video content that delivered an average of 20% more engagement compared to previous work on social channels like Instagram Reels and Tik Tok. I have also overseen the budget and execution of a live streaming workflow for delivering internal broadcasts to over 3300 employees across the globe, and supported executive level clients in video projects for comms. Additionally, I have tracked 5-6 different video projects per quarter for delivery with multiple rounds of approvals and budgets between 15k and 135k, all of which were delivered on time, to spec, and at budget. Some of the skills that I use and apply in my role are Wrike, video editing, video production, and video strategy. I am also an Emmy and Telly award winner, and have an AVID newscutter and media composer certification.
