Over the last 10 years I’ve spent time helping build teams, processes and organizations across a number of industries. My recruiting journey started at an agency as many do and I moved in house from there. I was one of the three recruiters to build the original Autopilot teams at Tesla. With Nest I worked with infrastructure and data engineering, then Performance and Capacity with Facebook. After spending time in larger more structured organizations I moved to Looker as the first recruiter where we focused on 0-1 development for EPD and building those teams from 20 to nearly 200 as well as expanding and scaling our processes to match our growth. Most recently with Shef I was their first recruiter and supporting all teams both tech and non tech helping. I built the structures and processes across the company and helped them grow from 20 to 90 during my tenure. In my startup roles I managed the full recruiting lifecycle, from process development, through sourcing, hiring, and onboarding as well as implementing metric driven strategies to standardize reporting and support strategic planning. I’ve collaborated with teams to align on hiring goals and priorities, and worked closely with the leadership to develop lean but standardized processes that allowed us to be nimble while keeping an eye on longer term scalability.
