Hired as the 1st People Practices Partner to build out the function and continue to provide executive coaching and relatable content through scale. Partner with Founders, GPs, executive teams, and HR Leaders in developing people strategies across company formation to scaling to global organizations. Developed the people strategy aligned with the business objectives to drive high performing organizations. Operated as a thought partner in navigating challenging climates related to market conditions, pivots, M&A, changes in the competitive landscape, to raising additional capital.
Work closely with companies at various stages across consumer, enterprise, web3, Fintech on best practices related to all aspects of the employee life cycle from attracting, developing, and retaining to build best in class cultures. Leading leadership sessions focused on managing distributed teams, DEI, scaling organizations, performance management, employee growth, and compensation strategy for web3.
For the Fintech and crypto verticals, I developed a People Strategy to support investments across the globe with an emphasis on emerging markets in LATAM and Africa, as well as building operations in the US and EU. Specifically, building operations in these geographies, best HR practices for inclusive organizations, engaging in cultural assessments, workflows that supported the business and distributed teams. Work closely with the leaderships teams focused on change management and employee engagement as companies scale and pivotal points of business transformation. Through scale engage closely with the corporate development team related to workforce planning to merger & acquisitions.
With this work, I developed content ranging from workforce planning, integration best practices, performance management, M&A playbook in partnership with the corporate development team, compensation strategy/philosophy in both the web2 and web3 ecosystems. Intent was to broaden resources to support companies and coach through design, implementation, stakeholder management to execution.
