Aditya is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on digital assets, digital asset custody, blockchain, transaction banking, retail banking, and payments. He has served as a co-founder and CTO, with two successful exits to SunGard and ACI. He was also a Global Managing Director of Citi Digital Strategy from 2011-2018 where he led digital transformation across both consumer and corporate bank as well as next-generation cloud, API, and microservices architecture.
As a global head of product management at Obopay, he drove mobile payments and financial inclusion in various regions. This included initiatives such as Nokia Money in India, Yu Cash in Kenya, Warid Pesa in Uganda, Yoban Tel in Senegal (in partnership with SocGen), and MasterCard MoneySend in the USA.
Aditya has helped to raise over $100mm in venture/strategic funding across multiple startups.
He was the first Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Yes Bank and the first Global CIO at Mphasis. He is recognized as a pioneer in digital and electronic banking, having implemented projects for institutions such as RBC, ABN, OCBC, DBS, and K-Bank.
He has extensive hands-on experience designing and building trade and supply chain finance digital tokens, issuance of regulated digital assets, and institutional custody platforms.
