Coming from the indie game startup scene, I've had to develop a very broad set of skills over the years making me a generalist. Developing for Android since 2009, writing services for millions of daily users, and working with large-scale data pipelines; means I've become more specialized in these three areas. I'm known to optimize everything I do; be it my schedule, software, processes, or workout routine. I have an interest in tech, music, languages, science, psychology, and physical exercise. My colleagues have always been very important to me and I do my best to support, learn from them, share knowledge and mentor them to grow. I truly believe that if you're not enjoying what we do, then we're doing something wrong. Being curious about anything I don't fully understand, and being exposed to computers from an early age, has led to a lot of hours spent exploring and learning how they worked. I must have been about ten years old when I borrowed an introductory book on Java from my uncle. I ended up writing some elementary programs and later on started doing web development. Computer games ended up being my entry point towards becoming a programmer, however. It wasn't until I started writing mods for SWAT 3 specifically that I truly realized how much fun tinkering with software was. By the time I was to apply for university, my love for games and programming made the choice obvious. Game programming was by far the most fitting study I could take and I enjoyed every minute of it. After my studies, I realized that while games were what got me into programming, my love was also for the technical challenges and the breadth of skills needed to make one. This sparked an interest in AI, distributed systems, machine learning, and anything of high complexity or performance requirements. --- If you're looking to get in touch with a specialist, wanting a career change, starting a new project or business, looking for a mentor, etc; please don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll do my best to help out or introduce you to the right people in my network.

As a Software Egineer I am a generalist, a lifelong student. I'm a proficient fullstack developer most at home writing code at the back of the stack - be it services, tooling, automation or infrastructure related. I’m a polyglot developer and I have professional experience working in Rust, Go, Java, Python, Bash, and I have dabbled in many more - Haskell, Erlang, C, Scala, Ruby, to name a few. I’ve got experience from working in small startups and large multi-national corporations. I’ve managed people and business. A Senior Service Designer & "Fagansvarlig" for Service Design at Telenor, working with design thinking, design sprints and lean startup to drive innovation of digital products & services. I guide teams in analysing customer journeys and discovering user problems. We leverage these user insights to drive innovation of new and existing products & services. We then test and validate new ideas with customers, in order to reduce business risk and avoid unnecessary investment costs. I have a wealth of experience with Service Design including customer journey mapping, value proposition design, service blueprinting and prototype development.
