I am primarily a Software Developer in the Cybersecurity space. I specialize in identifying roadblocks ahead of time, developing tools and dashboards to triage and monitor issues, and building roadmaps that empower engineers to better collaborate with Product, Quality, and Security teams. I like to think I am language and platform agnostic as my recent projects have spanned across Python 2*, Python 3*, Java 8*, 11* as well as a bit on Ruby on Rails, Javascript frameworks (VueJS, ReactJS, jQuery, etc.) and Terraform. I love employing AWS, GCP, and other virtual/cloud solutions where needed to harness cloud resources while optimizing costs. I participate in CTFs and dabble with Application and Offensive Security, by performing security assessments using Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, etc. tools. I have realized that I enjoy hacking as much as developing software. It also encourages me to explore and understand how various systems operate from a broad level right down to the core library functions. Additionally, I believe in mentoring and documentation to a high degree as a necessary step toward ensuring healthy long-term growth.
