Kathleen Moriarty, founder of SecurityBiaS is a technology strategist, consultant, and board advisor with three decades of experience, helping companies lead through disruption. She is a Curriculum Adviser and Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's SCS MPS Applied Intelligence Program, where she developed and teaches courses on cyber threat intelligence, and security architecture and design. She has had the honor of being elected and serving in prestigious international Internet standards positions and has numerous publications and patents.
Kathleen has a proven track record of leading through disruption, influencing standards, and shaping the future of cybersecurity. She served two terms as the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Security Area Director and member of the Internet Engineering Steering Group, where she co-authored several RFCs on digital signatures, incident handling, and information security. She also received the 2020 Tropaia Award for Outstanding Faculty at Georgetown SCS and was named among the Top 100 Women Fighting Cybercrime by CyberSecurity Ventures. She is currently a board and program committee member for several prestigious conferences and organizations, such as the Internet Society, RSA, SCORED, Mitiga, the Strategemist, and Sevco.
