As a graduate student at the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on electrochemical engineering and electrocatalysis. I am working on developing and optimizing platinum group metal-based oxygen reduction reaction catalysts for proton exchange fuel cells, using various material synthesis techniques and electrochemical evaluations. I have successfully fine-tuned the core-shell structures of the catalysts to enhance their activity and stability compared to commercial Pt/C catalysts.
Prior to joining UB, I gained valuable industry experience as a senior engineer at Larsen & Toubro, a leading engineering and construction company in India. I was involved in a methylene glycol project at IOCL, Paradip, a major oil refinery, where I handled the detailed engineering, on-site technical support, and procurement of the catalyst and chemical package costing nearly around 1 million US dollars. I also obtained certifications in business etiquettes and advanced project management from Larsen & Toubro. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and contribute to sustainable development. I value teamwork, innovation, and diversity, and I am eager to learn from and collaborate with experts from different fields and backgrounds.

I’m a Mechanical Engineer who loves building cool, functional stuff—whether it’s race car parts, wearable tech, or soft robotics. I’ve worked across automotive, consumer products, architecture, and research, and I thrive where engineering meets creativity.
At Allygrow, I validated EV components under various tolerances, and at Bialosky, I designed HVAC systems that cut energy use while keeping buildings comfortable. At USC, I got hands-on with sensor fabrication and soft robotics, automating processes to make them faster and more scalable. On the side, I’ve helped startups and brands like PBL. and Hummel turn product ideas into manufacturable designs—balancing performance, cost, and style.
I adapt quickly, love a challenge, and enjoy taking ideas from sketch to production. I'm driven to work with companies that are pushing the boundaries of innovation in consumer and customer-centric products. I’m excited to grow as a product development engineer, contribute to teams building impactful hardware, and eventually lead those teams to design real-world solutions that are as meaningful as they are well-executed.
When I’m not engineering, I’m probably in the kitchen cooking something complex from scratch—multi-step marinades, hand-rolled flatbreads, the whole deal.

Having spent most of my career more in front of people than code, here are 2 things that I have learnt:-
1. People who don't code, love to to be heard (sic: usually) and ...
2. People who do, like to be left alone (even more so)
Jokes apart, I have been on both sides of technology:- the flashy sales side, and the dingy backend side. That puts me in an interesting position to be a technical counsel of your product/service. Here's what I bring to the table:-
