As a member of Qualtrics’ Resolutions team, I leverage my people skills and technical problem-solving skills to support teams across the company throughout the lifecycle of a bug report. I am responsible for triaging bug reports and I own their resolution timelines. This positions me at the crossroads between our support teams, customer teams, and engineers. Being successful in this unique position requires me to be an excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical teams. In addition to my core role, I have several other responsibilities. I own our team’s internal Chrome extension which injects additional functionality into our most used tools and serves as a hub for important links used by the team. I also develop and maintain our Slack bots, run trainings for newly hired tech support reps, and have trained our external hires in Dublin, Ireland. From an early age, I have been fascinated with technology and helping others, from setting up projectors for teachers to being the go-to "IT guy" for my friends and family. Making technology accessible to others is at the core of who I am. I have experience being an impactful leader and am drawn to leadership positions. My successes as a Sailing Master, president of a fraternity, and as Core Team Lead while at Qualtrics have all helped me grow as a leader in unique ways. I believe that the most successful leaders are those who can listen to and empathize with as many groups of people as possible. My unique academic background (major in Computer Science and minor in Studio Art) combines with my professional experience (technical support as well as working between support and engineering) to enable me to talk to and understand people from all kinds of backgrounds.
