I received a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies at Liberty University with a minor in Unmanned Aerial Systems. I spent three semesters as a small UAS instructor and became certified as an operator, mechanic, and crew chief on the Textron Aerosonde platform during my senior year. I currently have 2 years of industry experience working with Duke Energy where I have been exposed to various mission types as well as multiple platforms including the DJI Mavic series, M300, Flyability Elios 2, and WingtraOne. My experience primarily revolves around performing infrastructure inspections at generation facilities as well as volumetric mapping at ash basins. I have some exposure to other UAS applications such as LiDAR mapping, water sampling, and 3D modeling.
