I am a passionate software engineer and manager with over a decade of professional front and back-end software development experience. I am comfortable working on a team or in a leadership role and have successfully helped start-ups navigate funding, go through acquisitions, navigate hyper-growth, and scale their technology and organizations.
I am competent designing, implementing and optimizing all parts of modern web applications; including infrastructure and deployment, the database, API and client layers, user interfaces and product flows using tools in the Ruby, Javascript, SQL, Unix and Cloud ecosystems.
I am able to and enjoy fulfilling multiple roles during early stage development, on task-force teams, and company growth periods including management, product design and ownership, project management, testing, technical and content marketing, and team growth and on-boarding.
