Matt’s work spans across documentary and fiction filmmaking. He directed CALL IT DEMOCRACY, a powerful film about the injustice within the Electoral College system, and OUR TALL MAN, a documentary about South Sudanese NBA star Manute Bol. His first fiction feature film, COLORBLIND COLOR CORRECTOR, is currently in post-production. Matt has also worked on notable projects like HEART OF A DOG with Laurie Anderson and produced CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO, the first 3D feature film at the Sundance Film Festival. For many years, Matt hosted the monthly film screening series SPEAKEASY CINEMA, earning Village Voice’s “Best of NY 2016.” Matt graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in Political Science, specializing in film studies and feminist political theory.
