I am an Executive MBA qualified HR leader with over 20 years’ experience across markets in the UK, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Currently HoHR for two integral businesses in a fast growth Ed-Tech Unicorn(c. 500 HC and $120m+ p.a. topline). In previous roles I have led geographically dispersed HR teams of up to 40, that have supported 1600-3500 employees in multiple jurisdictions. A stand-out quality is my commercial savviness, as well as being solutions-driven & client-focused. In many of my roles, I have led initiatives that have had positive RoI and moved the organisation forward. It’s my firm belief that HR needs to be a business enabler. I have been in roles that have required me to operate strategically as well as tactically and I am equally comfortable juggling both ends of this spectrum. And I have led the HR aspects of acquisitions in Asia as well as Europe. My movement between Banking, running my own consulting practice, an industrial business and now an Ed-Tech start up have made me exceptionally adaptable & industry agnostic. What I enjoy is the opportunity to make real impact - whether it is improving the way things are done or developing new processes from scratch (first principles thinking). Lastly, having grown up in Asia and the UK as well as through my work experience across most continents, I am multi-culturally sensitive and someone who values and champions diversity.
