With an international team of seasoned engineers, project managers, and experienced contractors, Carbonfree designs, builds, commissions, and operates utility-scale solar power plants across the Americas. The team has successfully implemented state of the art photovoltaic, solar tracking, and SCADA technologies to drastically reduce the cost of solar power and transition it from a subsidy-based experiment, to a mainstream cost-competitive investment-grade technology. As a global citizen and a results-oriented leader, Maged strives to have a positive impact on the world. During his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, reading science journals, and travelling to destinations off the beaten path.

My enthusiasm for renewable energy has led me to work on international sustainable energy projects in Europe, the Middle East, Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America. Most recently this consists of Solar PV project development and finance. My goal is to further sustainable energy development worldwide in a multidisciplinary fashion, utilizing skills in: • Energy Planning, Finance, Project Development, Design, Management, Policy, and Master Planning • Renewable Energy Systems, Technology, Engineering & Energy Efficiency: Solar Energy, PV, Solar Thermal, CSP, Wind, Green Buildings • Global Energy Issues; Energy Supply in Developing Countries • Intercultural awareness in international environments speaking 6 foreign languages • Inspiring an excitement for renewable energy in people of different backgrounds
