Maged leads all things technical as the VP of Engineering and Special Projects at CarbonFree Group. With an international team of seasoned engineers, project managers, and experienced contractors, Carbonfree designs, builds, commissions, and operates utility-scale solar power plants across the Americas. The team has successfully implemented state of the art photovoltaic, solar tracking, and SCADA technologies to drastically reduce the cost of solar power and transition it from a subsidy-based experiment, to a mainstream cost-competitive investment-grade technology. As a global citizen and a results-oriented leader, Maged strives to have a positive impact on the world. During his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, reading science journals, and travelling to destinations off the beaten path.
