Currently support Commercial customers as a Cloud and AI Infrastructure Solutions Engineer with Cisco. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer II with EBSCO, my responsibilities encompassed strategy, management, and operations of our enterprise data centers. As the lead SME for the Cisco compute and infrastructure operations, I drove design and implementation on a variety of projects which include data center expansion and migration, Cisco UCS/UCS-X deployments and upgrades, network and power infrastructure refreshes, Cisco Meraki environmental monitoring, tech-debt reduction planning, and cross-team patching coordination. Over my tenure, I was directly responsible for over $1 million in cost-savings and recouped value. In addition, I advised the business on budget planning and technical roadmap strategy. Searching for opportunities in process, operational, and technical improvements was a constant priority of mine with a bias towards security, tech-debt reduction, fiscal responsibility, and infrastructure versatility to meet the evolving needs of our customers. While working as a Managed Service Provider, I led network and server deployments from design to implementation for SMB customers in healthcare, retail, education, legal, manufacturing, and the customer service industries. Deployments included Cisco Meraki, Sophos XG firewalls, Ubiquiti, Synology, QNAP, and Dell/HP servers running VMware/Hyper-V. In addition to our business clients, I provided personalized IT support to home customers along with installation of A/V systems, security systems, VOIP, and data backup solutions. I am proud to have cultivated new partner relationships to expand product portfolio offerings to meet customer requirements.
