I'm the kind of weirdo who actually LOVES the documentation part of a project. Learning the ins and outs of something, then condensing that learning into user-friendly, informative material is my jam. I combine this with my user experience design skills to empower both employees and customers. My technical writing skills don't just cover software and product documentation. I've also: * written grant applications, * conducted website heuristic reviews, * drafted project outlines and assessment criteria for tenders going to market, * created and managed intranet structure and governance, * worked on critical database merge and migration projects, * built entity relationship diagrams, * created content inventories, * planned and implemented digital literacy initiatives, * built websites using HTML, CSS and PHP, * worked with a variety of content management systems, * ghost-written content for brand blogs, * documented physical ICT infrastructure for restructures, * created promotional and educational video material, * maintained social media accounts, and * written Choose Your Own Adventure style games for PC. I got my start at the science education museum Scitech, maintaining their website, video content and social media channels, along with producing small pieces of work for interactive exhibits. Scitech's approach to involving kids in STEM has influenced my entire career - I bring their mix of analytical and creative thinking to every project. Nothing excites me more than a new puzzle to solve. I've been in love with multi-choice narratives from a very young age, and along with publishing my own short narrative games, I've contributed over 120,000 words to the upcoming indie game, Pipe Dream. I have presented successful projects at a variety of conferences and events, including Collections Australia Network and SHARE. I greatly enjoy public speaking - steal me for your conference! I'm an avid Yang-style Tai Chi practitioner (I'm a state level gold medalist!) I also love to snorkel around the Swan River, and re-read Terry Pratchett novels (not at the same time). Currently loving The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells, and playing Rimworld and Breath of the Wild.
