With over 30 years of work experience in the fields of broadcasting and information systems I am a passionate educator who aims to empower individuals and organizations with the skills and knowledge to leverage information and communication technologies for social and economic development. Currently, I am a casual academic at the University of Sydney. Previously, I was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong, where I contributed to research projects on cyber security policy in low to middle income countries, e-commerce development in low to middle income countries and accessible ICT procurement policies to level the field for people with disabilities seeking work. I am also an independent IT-broadcast consultant, providing workshop facilitation and adult education services to NGOs. I have multiple publications and presentations in reputable journals and conferences, and I am a member of several professional associations and networks. I value collaboration, innovation, and social justice, and I seek to join a team that shares these values and goals, and that can benefit from my diverse perspectives and experiences.
