I work as a Senior Legal Counsel at Wintermute, a leading digital assets trading firm, where I am responsible for negotiating commercial agreements and advising on global regulatory developments in the digital assets industry. I'm qualified to practice in California, US and India. Before joining Wintermute, I worked as a Regulatory & Policy Fellow with Bain Capital Crypto where I advised the investment team and early stage Decentralized Finance (DeFi) startups on impact of regulatory developments and legal risk assessment. I have also collaborated with the Uniswap Foundation, DAO Research Collective and Stanford's Rock Center for Corporate Governance on projects dealing with novel legal issues in DeFi and decentralized governance. I earned my primary law degree in India and then went on to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Stanford Law School. In between, I worked with top corporate and tax law firms in India for 6 years where I advised MNCs on tax laws, cross-border transactions and regulatory investigations.
