Experienced capital markets professional with expertise in global market structure, exchange strategy development, and trading optimization. I began my career working on the trading floors of the Chicago Board of Trade at the age of 14 and have over 25 years experience in the commodity and financial derivatives industry. Currently I'm the CEO of MIAX Global Derivatives and President of MIAX Futures Exchange (f/k/a Minneapolis Grain Exchange). My responsibilities include managing the futures businesses of MIH, including the day-to-day operations of MIAX Futures, the development of proprietary products, and the company’s global futures business strategy. Prior to joining MIAX, I was COO of Counterparty Strategy and Global Head of Derivatives and FICC Development at Citadel Securities where I managed strategic partnerships with exchanges, banks and vendors. I was also responsible for the firm’s business development and market structure advocacy across futures, options and fixed income products globally and equity products in the Americas. Prior to Citadel Securities, I was Head of Strategy for Financial and OTC Products at CME Group, responsible for tactical coordination of the development and execution for CME’s Financial and OTC business lines (Equities, Interest Rates, & FX) strategies, technology projects and key strategic initiatives which were both organic and inorganic. I served as Chief Operating Officer of Eagle Seven, a privately held, globally positioned algorithmic trading firm from 2013 to 2016.
