I am a builder. I am an entrepreneur. I thrive in environments where things are not well organized, and I am forced to make sense of it all. While most of my early professional career was been spent working for other people, and in some cases, large tech companies, I've always considered myself an entrepreneur at heart. Whether developing an entirely new sales playbook selling to a new audience, building a sales team from scratch in a product-led company, or taking a new product to market in a well established single-product organization, I am intrinsically driven to build something from nothing. My tech sales and sales leadership career spanned from 2006 to 2022. I've since pivoted to self-employment and love it. In 2009 while working in tech, I began investing in real estate. Buying, renovating, and renting apartments in Boston area. Literally doing most of the renovation and management work myself, nights and weekends. That was the birth of First Light Capital, my investment and development company. What started with single condos, led to small multi-family buildings, and then eventually scaled to development. I personally own and operate more than 65 apartments in Massachusetts, with over 35 more in pipeline. I believe stable and affordable housing is the foundation to leading a healthy life, and my goal is continue delivering great products and great tenant experiences to the market for years to come. Personally, I live in Northeastern Massachusetts with my incredibly supportive wife, two daughters, and two doodles. I've run a marathon in 18 states, and have a personal goal of doing all 50 by the time I am 50 years old. I also love to surf, travel, and spend time on the water boating.
