We back ambitious founders who want to change financial services globally. I spend most of my time exploring a few themes: consumer fintech, embedded infrastructure incl. payments, insurtech, AI, crypto. Prior to Portage: - I helped build and launch a digital wealth manager that now has 2M+ clients. It is working now, but the ride was bumpy. - I worked at BCG/DV - with large financial services incumbents. I learnt a lot about what is broken in the financial system. I had a good run, but it wasn’t for me. - I led biz dev / ops for an early-stage payments start-up. It didn’t work. I got a taste of how hard it is to launch something people really love. Outside of work, you can find me at a restaurant, wandering through cities, standing in the audience of my local music venue, or on an actual portage.
