I lead the Algorand Foundation (the best L-1 blockchain) as CEO and member of the board of directors. We are an energy-efficient, quantum-secure chain built for real-world scale and institutional-grade certainty, and I work with our teams to ensure that enterprises, organisations, NGOs, and developers that want to leverage blockchain technology do so on Algorand. I am on the board of the Algorand Foundation and the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), and have served on several advisory committees, including for the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the European Parliament’s Science and Technology Committee (STOA), and currently for the U.S. Financial Technology Association (FTA). Before Algorand, I led the Global Market Development Practice at the Milken Institute for eight years, specializing in initiatives around capital market development, fintech for financial inclusion, crypto/blockchain, and innovative finance in the SDGs. I joined Milken from J.P. Morgan’s public sector practice for EMEA out of London. I've also held senior roles at Nasdaq (leading its two markets for microcap companies) and served as a senior economist for the U.S. Treasury Department, the Center for Global Development, and the Harvard Institute for International Development.
