I am currently leading North America Product Management for JCB International responsible for developing and enabling the latest payment products. I kicked off my career as a consultant for CapGemini, one of the top 10 IT companies in the world, and led the application team that designed and developed the chip card processing systems for Morgan Stanley’s UK credit card portfolio and HSBC’s global credit card platform. I then continued as the head of R&D and Innovation within the Payment Services unit of Discover Financial Services and led the team that launched emerging payment technologies and evangelized the brand’s innovation capabilities. I then proceeded to lead strategic partnerships with major technology and fintech partners globally. With expertise of empowering teams of 30+ globally distributed professionals spanning R&D, Engineering, Industry Relations, Product Testing, Payment Innovation & Emerging Products, I have also worked to deliver the following career highlights: ► Implemented and scaled JCB contactless, transit and digital payment products in North America. ► Led the initiative which enabled Discover to operate in digital payment wallets including ApplePay, GooglePay, Samsung Pay and more. Substantially increased payment processing on mobile phones, eCommerce, and “tap and pay.” ► Designed and built Discover’s chip card product and “tap and pay” products for contactless payment. ► Developed Discover’s Developer Engagement Strategy and launched their developer portal open portal to all developers, fintech and tech partners such as Samsung, PayPal, and Google. ► Achieved substantial revenue growth with marquee enterprise tech and fintech partners.
