I am a graduate student at Penn State University pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations, with a strong focus on Offensive Security, Web Application Security, Network Security, and Cybersecurity Analytics. My academic and professional experiences are grounded in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding practices. I have hands-on experience conducting security audits and assessments using industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Metasploit, and Splunk. Through a combination of internships and academic projects, I have performed web application penetration tests, identified and remediated vulnerabilities, and implemented security best practices to strengthen system defenses. My expertise extends to network security, malware analysis, and cybersecurity analytics. I apply machine learning techniques to enhance threat detection and anomaly identification, and have worked on projects including: • Developing an ML-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) • Automating malware sandboxing using YARA rules • Securing web applications through robust input validation and access control mechanisms Beyond technical proficiency, I am passionate about cybersecurity education and mentorship. As a Teaching Assistant for Cyber Analytics, I guide students in Python-based security analytics, helping them understand and mitigate real-world cyber threats.
