Innovation has always been the driving force in my career, fueled by a curiosity for novelty that has captivated me since childhood. My mom often found it challenging to keep me occupied; every time she came up with a new idea, I quickly solved the task and eagerly sought more complex challenges. In 1986, at the age of six, my parents gifted me a Commodore 128, my very first PC. This gift marked a pivotal moment, immersing me in the emerging world of computers. I started by playing games like Super Mario Brothers and Giana Sisters, but it wasn't long before I began coding my own games. By the age of seven, I was delving into Basic and, thanks to my dad, Turbo Pascal. This early exposure cemented my decision to pursue a career in the exact sciences. I went on to study Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, a choice influenced by proximity rather than passion. The courses often bored me, and I adopted a pragmatic approach to pass my exams, graduate, and start a career in Computer Science as soon as possible. Fortunately, in my final semesters, computer security courses ignited my interest. I discovered cryptography and network security, which led me to pursue a PhD in cryptography and a post-doc fellowship at Tel Aviv University. This academic journey taught me a systematic approach to solving complex problems, and I am proud to have contributed various papers and patents to the field of cryptography and security. While academic research is intellectually rewarding, I realized that my true passion lies in building products from groundbreaking research. This realization led me to NEC, where I spent almost five years conducting innovative research aimed at solving real customer problems. My time at NEC equipped me with valuable business and management skills. With a diverse portfolio of technical and non-technical skills, it wasn’t long before I founded my first deep tech venture, driven by the same spirit of innovation that has always guided me.
