Head of AI Solutions

I am a technology agnostic forward thinker with an attraction to the bleeding edge disruptive technologies (IoT, Blockchain, Distributed Applications & Machine Learning). I bring nearly 20 years of immersion in the field to the table. I have lead or have been part of teams all over the industry from early stage startups to agencies/consultancies all the way up to full scale enterprises. Currently my attention is focused mainly on server side technology and I specialize in the Javascript/Node ecosystem. I frame myself as a problem solver and aim to help people think about technology. My development work is characterized by an awareness of design patterns. In terms of methodology I believe in an interdisciplinary iterative approach to development driven by tight feedback loops between the team and client/product owner. I believe better project outcomes are generated from getting developers involved in the ideation process as early as possible. I evangelize for Test Driven Development and scaleable modular component based systems & micro-service architectures. I have had the opportunity to build and lead small to medium sized development teams on long term projects and I am very interested in the processes and methodologies required to support efficient innovative work.
