Do everything possible to set your company and the candidate up for success, and if there are any issues along the route be communicative and transparent. A bad fit helps nobody, and delays in any process need to be flagged and communicated immediately. Past the recruiting aspect, I love automation and finding the best way to connect systems to make them run as efficiently as possible. I have opportunities to do that in recruiting, with tools like Zapier and Glean, and also build projects for myself to automate where I can.
