I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of building systems that make life easier for users while optimizing performance behind the scenes. Currently at Orocorp as a Software Development Engineer, I’ve had the opportunity to lead the development of a lead management system capable of processing files with up to 1 million rows. This project not only honed my skills in Node.js but also deepened my understanding of memory management and time complexity—two elements that are crucial for creating high-performance applications. Before joining Orocorp, I was part of Fashinza where I developed an Open Costing backend system using Django for over 250 suppliers. This experience taught me how to manage colossal data efficiently through Excel uploads while saving significant time for our users. It was rewarding to see how our efforts improved communication processes within supplier networks and streamlined operations. During my stint as a Project Lead at KFin Technologies, I worked on several influential web applications including Digix. My role allowed me to take charge of backend development while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications met user needs effectively. It’s fulfilling to contribute directly to products that impact users positively. My journey also includes participating in Google Summer of Code where I created an event management system using Kotlin. This experience not only sharpened my technical skills but also fueled my passion for open-source contributions. Being part of the FOSSASIA community has been incredibly enriching both personally and professionally.
